We have great news for everyone already registered for the 2026 Hobie 16 International Championship and a reminder for those still thinking about joining us September 14-25 in Ocean Springs, MS.
The Hobie 16 International Event Committee, in conjunction with the Title Sponsors, is pleased to announce that custom event sails have been secured for the Hobie 16 Masters Series and the Hobie 16 Open Series Finals.
Flying around the racecourse will be beautiful brand-new CLASS LEGAL, customized, event-unique colored main and jib sails featuring many of our sponsors, including Title Sponsors Play Coastal Mississippi and Visit Mississippi.
To add to the excitement, the winner of the Hobie 16 Open Class will be presented with a brand-new set of these sails featuring sail number 01.
Starting today, you can pre-order a set of these sails and request your preferred sail number (02 – 41). Single sets are priced at $1,700 and we’re allowing sailors to order up to three sets at the multi-set price of $1,600 each.
All pre-ordered sails must be collected on-site — no shipping and pre-paid. But, if you can’t make the event and still want a set, simply arrange for someone at the event to pick up your sails on the final day after racing (Friday, September 25).
In summary:
- These sails are first come, first served. These unique sail sets will sell out fast!
- Sail numbers will be allocated based on pre-order requests, we will make every effort to provide your requested options.
- Pickup on-site is mandatory on the last day of the Hobie 16 Open (Friday, September 25) after racing.
